Installing V2 has no effect on the installed V1 as they are entirely separate applications, installed in different locations. It is true that if you Save an Affinity file using V2 you cannot Open that file in V1 any more. But it doesn't sound like that's what you mean. Can you explain a bit more, or provide some screenshots to show the problem?
