Program closing

I am working on "tracing" a picture using vector Lines. The program keeps closing after I join a few lines.

That sounds very frustrating! Can you post a screen recording showing the steps taken. Also details of iPad model and iOS version would be helpful. Some bugs only seem to effect certain models. Maybe attach a file you are experiencing the issue in so other users can check it out.
