Hi

I've got these 2 attached candles. I want the red one to be almost as smooth as the white, to remove the texture. It'd be great if I have an ability to decide how intense is the smoothness to keep just a little bit of the texture, to not remove it completely. How to do that?

There are several possible ways of doing this, most will operate an a previous made selection and then altering the color (...here shown via a HSL adjustment) ...

... other ways would be via colored fills, brush overpainting or clone brush ..., or the Color replacement brush tool ... etc.
