muneris
I'm not sure if this is the proper forum to request that a new lens profile be added to Affinity Photo 2.0. This is the one: Venus Optics Laowa 90mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO Lens. Thanks! Rene B
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Affinity Photo (and Photo 2) use the Lensfun library, and Serif picks up whatever lens profiles are provided by that Open Source project. So I don't think it does much good to request a new lens profile here. You can find more about Lensfun at https://lensfun.github.io/ where you can find direct links to their database where you can download early versions of lens data, or learn how to perform your own lens calibration, and even submit your own lens calibration data to Lensfun for inclusion in the database. Or you can also request them (Lensfun) to work on it by opening a ticket. More info on that at https://lensfun.github.io/calibration/ Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
Rene B
Hey. Any updates on this? Missing the 90mm FF and the 65mm APSC, too 🙂 Does Serif maybe issue those inside the github repo? Would be nice to have them

And if so, you can download the XML file and install it. But if Lensfun doesn't have it at all, you're only options are to request th at they (Lensfun) add it, or do the calibration yourself.
