Andrew_L
Am I correct in thinking that the universal Affinity licence for MacBook includes, at no extra cost, the V2 Apps for iPad? That is the impression I get from the Affinity website. Assuming the answer to that question is yes, how does one go about downloading and installing the V2 Apps onto iPad without incurring the charge that would normally be made when downloading Apps from the Apple store? walt.farrell
Yes, a Universal license covers Mac, Windows, and iPad for one payment. When it works properly, you simply install the iPad apps from the iPadOS App Store, and then register/activate them using your Affinity Store account email and password. Note that if you purchased the Universal license from Apple rather than from Serif, you will need to link your purchase to your existing Affinity Store account, or create a new one if you don't have one yet, for this to work. Andrew_L
OK @walt.farrell. Thanks. I will have a read and hopefully sort it out. walt.farrell
Andrew_L
All done and installed. All I have to do now is work out what exactly I’m going to do with them on an iPad. 😀 I have almost exclusively used the MacBook for Affinity applications in the past. I can imagine Affinity Photo might be of occasional use on the iPad. But Tge other two apps I’m not so sure. Anyway, thanks @walt.farrell for pointing me in the right direction. 👍 walt.farrell
