Hello,

I am considering switching from Adobe InDesign to Affinity Publisher and I'm already in the middle of the test period.

Initial impressions of Publisher ore OK: I managed to import my work from InDesign and first interesting observation was abour scrolling quality. While InDesign has to catch up with updates to pages graphics, Publisher seems to display high-quality pages, while quickly scrolling through them, at all times.

But... I could not find any way to import my InDesign documents together with footnotes. Would that be possible? Or I would have to re-do all the footnotes (a no-go for me, I think)?

Thank you and have a nice day,

Yes, well… In that case I don’t think that I can use it for completing what I started in InDesign, not this time. I think it would take me two days just making copy-paste of footnotes, not to mention possible unexpected situations with a new software and workflow. :)
