Designer V2 always freezes on save

Hi there,

when trying to save a file in Designer V2, the app always hangs. Only force quit possible and restarting the app. The file seems to be saved by the app is unusable after save. In general, I noticed that the app seems to be quite buggy and definately less performant than V1 ... should have been tested more thoroughly before release.

Macbook Pro 15" 2018 (2,2 GHz 6 Core i7, Radeon Pro 555X)

A quick note: The app is also regularly freezing when zooming (trackpad) and exporting files that already exist (overwrite)

It is really frustrating ... I can not use the apps when working because it constantly freezes. I only can force quit it and reopen to start working on it for maybe another 5 minutes. I reinstalled the apps reveral times without improvement. I should mention that I downloaded from the app store.

I find that when trying to click on multiple items to move them - particularly text boxes together with vectors, the pointer converts to text tool and freezes. Aggravating.

Sorry to hear the trouble you are having.  Are you still having these issue in the 2.0.4 update?  If so, can you give me as much information about your workflow, like how are you exporting?  File Export or via the Export Persona?

@AmayWhich operating system are you running Affinity on?  Are you still having trouble in 2.0.4

Hi Stokberg. I am using 2.0.4 version. Moreover, I am trying to dissect lines using the blade tool and Designer keeps crashing. I mean constantly. It is really frustrating.
