morbus0815 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 (edited) Hi there. Dont know if this is right here but i try. I started a little project in "Publisher 2" and try to arange some tables. Now i have the problem that i want to set the tables exact and didnt see the distance. Or better: The Distance is blocket from the eye by the white dots to move the table. I can zoom in yes but is there a way to show the Distancenumbers maybe on two positions or a little bit left or right or dynamic? btw. Sorry for my english. Not a nativ speaker / writer. 🙂 Edited November 15, 2022 by morbus0815 Quote
fde101 Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Use the transform panel for this. On the left side of the transform panel is a grid where you can select a corner, the midpoint of an edge, or the center of an object; the "X" and "Y" coordinates are then given (and can be set) for that point on the selected object. If you select the upper object that you want to distance the table from and select a lower point in the transform panel, you can copy the "Y" (vertical) coordinate of the bottom of that object. Then select the table and pick an upper point in the transform panel so that the "Y" coordinate in the transform panel reflects the top of the table: paste the Y position you copied into the "Y" field on the transform panel, then at the end of it add "+" and the distance you want the table to have from the other object. morbus0815 1 Quote
