Sorry if I should know this. When I double click a thumbnail in the layers panel (not the mask thumbnail) it changes something in the main viewer windows. Does anyone know what double clicking the thumbnail icon (not the mask icon does in Photo v2.

Thanks,

Bill Byrnes

First, @billbyrnes, I recommend you remove your email address from your post. You should be able to do that by clicking the "..." icon on the upper right of the post and choosing Edit. These forums are public, and exposing an email address that way is likely to lead to spam.

Double-clicking on a layer thumbnail can do at least two different things, depending on what kind of layer it is. It can perform a "zoom to fit" for that layer. Or, if you have some kinds of embedded (or linked?) documents, it can open an editing tab for the document.

And depending on other actions you've taken, it may do something else.

So, to say for certain what it's doing we would need to see screenshots of before/after and/or a video, with the complete application window and the Layers panel showing.
