Asrar
in Affinity Designer v1, you can always untick the spellcheck feature (spell checking while typing) on the menu of text panel every time you open up your document. I can’t do the same on v2. It does say you can do so from the help menu though. I do need this spellchecker although it would be nice if you can toggle it on off whenever you like doing so on the file itself.

Asrar
That was fast. Thank you. Hopefully you can find this kind of explanation in the help guide within the apps.

At the moment I think Affinity are still working on getting Help finalised. Some of these Preview menu items don’t appear to be covered yet. Unfortunately with new releases it’s often a bit of trial and error, stumble across a solution and then share outcome. Once you know it not too bad, but finding these 'hidden' features can initially be a bit trying. 😁 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
