Black squares no image on all export types

I've been exporting files as PNGs and JPEGs and when I do there is no image, just black squares where the image should be - See file attached...

It also happens when copying the layer and pasting it into another file - even pasting it into the same file.

I've tried a solution that was recommended in another thread, Preferences> Performance> Uncheck Enable Metal Compute Acceleration. Didn't change anything.

@GemPuddle Welcome to the forums.

Can you do a screen recording showing your design open in your Affinity app and then going through the export process and then opening up you exported file. Then upload the screen recording here so the process can be confirmed.

Also please try attaching your Affinity file (.afphoto,.afdesign or .afpub) so I can also try exporting.

In the meantime, on the Export window does the Preview look the same and are you changing any of the options?

Can you also confirm which Affinity app and macOS version being used.
