ViewpointAPV
Hi. I have a requirement to add property boundary lines to a spherical 360 shot taken from a drone. I can open the file and move into Live projection, but I'm having issues creating the lines around the area of land required. In Photoshop I would normally create a line like this by drawing a path and adding a stroke to the path. I suppose what I want to do is to be able enter live projection, and draw a path that is anchored somehow to that projection. So that when I move around the projection, the path stays in the correct place. At the moment, I am entering live projection, then creating a layer above with a curve and going back into live projection (to move the view so that I can see more of the area to outline). When I move around the image however, the path remans where it is and I'm unable to add to the path to complete the outline. I'd like to be able to anchor the path into the 3d projection somehow, so that I can continue to edit the path whilst moving around the 360 image. I'm a Photoshop user - completely new to Affinity Photo, and looking at it specifically for this purpose. Thanks. Staff NathanC Posted September 7, 2022 Staff Share Posted September 7, 2022 Hi @ViewpointAPV welcome to the forums, Since the curve is above the pixel layer it will act independently and can't be anchored to the image projection (as far as i'm aware). This will likely require a destructive approach, Add a curve with the projection enabled, once it is positioned it can then be rasterised and merged down into the pixel layer, the lines will then retain their positioning within the projection. However, i'm aware that this destructive approach will likely cause some problems if you want to continue editing the curve in the projection, so this may need to be handled in smaller segments.
