Staff MEB Posted January 3, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 3, 2016 Hi echristy, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) There's no other way to get the retail app other than trough the Mac App Store. Sometimes it may be down or temporarily inaccessible but usually it ends up become available again after a few hours. Can you check what says in the Affinity Designer button in the Purchased tab of the App Store app? If it says Open you may have installed the program but for some reason it's not starting or become corrupted. If that's the case go to the Applications folder, drag Affinity Designer app to the Trash and try to install again. If it displays Install just go ahead and click on it to try the installation again.
