LuisB
Hello all, I am laying out my resume in Publisher. I'm using the Raleway font. On screen and even when exported to JPG the font appears fine. When I export to PDF it looks like the font is thinner. I haven't been able to figure out why. Top screenshot is PDF export, and bottom is as it appears correctly on screen and JPG export. LuisB
I think I just found the solution in another post. In the export settings, set EMBED FONTS to "Text as Curves." This seemed to fix it. Lee_T

When variable fonts are not supported you get the default master. In Raleway the default master is Light. So when you do the Export to PDF that Light is what you get. Use the static fonts instead. LuisB
When I downloaded the font family I did install only the static ones. It seems that the work-around I mentioned seems to do the trick. In case anyone else encounters the same issue. Thanks you.
