Cobraboy1997
I just switched from Aperture and Photos and am very impressed. With the Apple products, they take care of cataloging and filing the images. I have looked at tutorials for Affinity and unless I am missing something do not see how it works. Since I am starting new, would appreciate any suggestions. Right now, i am separating the exported files and the work files in different folders. Just trying to save myself from a mess in the future. Staff MEB Posted December 29, 2015 Staff Share Posted December 29, 2015 Hi Cobraboy1997, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Affinity Photo is not a digital assets management (DAM) software like Aperture or Apple Photos, so It doesn't manage libraries/catalogs. It's a RAW converter/developer and photo editing application comparable to Photoshop. We already announced our DAM solution for later which will work seamlessly with Affinity Photo. Cobraboy1997
Appreciate the response, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something before I set up my own file management system. Look forward to what will be offered in the future. Thanks,
