caimi Posted July 20, 2022 Share Posted July 20, 2022 Affinity Photo (AP) always fails to open because there is a problem with the welcome modal. If you open an file with AP, it will work correctly. If you try to open the welcome modal, post open, from the Help > Welcome menu... The AP always crashes. This happens, for me, since version 1.6. Please how should I fix this? Staff DWright Posted July 21, 2022 Staff Share Posted July 21, 2022 Hi @caimi, Welcome to the forum Can you please try resetting your Affinity Photo back to its default settings by holding down the CTRL key while launching affinity Photo. When the Clear User Data window appears, click Select All and then Clear.
