Hi everyone. I'm currently trying to print labels for my business and I'm finding it difficult to get colour all the way to the edge of said labels.

I'm new to the affinity suite and I've never used anything else. Please can anyone tell me how to get the colour all the way to the edge or direct me to a tutorial?

If it's pertinent to my question I'm using affinity on a desktop Mac with a primera lx900e label printer.

Thank you in advance!

… is not very specific about concrete problems. It is useful to tell exactly what you tried / expected and what step did not work / what happened instead.

Have you installed the current driver, have you tried with setting up your printer in macOS to use this driver (instead of Apple's "AirPrint"), did you set the edge … ? See page 49 "Printing from other programs" / page 50 "Creating a full bleed print"  https://dtm-print.eu/manuals/LX910e-Manual-EN.pdf

Hi @thomaso thank you for taking the time to respond, I appreciate it.

Well so far I've set up the primera driver and touched up the alignment parameters to centre the print on the label. I'm as sure as I can be that I've taken all the steps at the primera end to correct things. On the right and left hand edges this is perfect (print ends where the label does) but I've a 1mm white edge at the top and bottom edges of the label. I'm dragging my label designs straight into publisher and printing from there directly.

I will have a look through the manuals and see what they have to say, thanks for that.
