PDF export: RGB images get converted to CMYK (split)

Hello,

Could anyone detail how I do it to export a printer ready X-4 PDF with embedded RGB images and the rest of the document in CMYK?
I did a lot of trying back and forth and it seems not to work at least not with my version of AP.

The reason for this is, is to reduce the size of the exported PDF, as the printer is struggle to handle a 3 GB PDF file through his system.

By the way my version of AP is 1.10.5.

Anyone from Affinity that could shed some light here?!

Hi Jorgev,

Welcome to the forums

If you go to File > Export select PDF and then hit the More button you should see the PDF export options menu appear. Please could you make sure the tickbox for convert image colour spaces is unticked?
