I want to create some realistic depth, so I want to decrease the vertical length on the right side of this circular group

Sort of like this, the anchors on the right node don't go as far up and down as the left node, and I've moved the right node closer to the center. I want to do this for the whole group though

  • Select all related layers inside the group (convert all to curves if you've not already done so).
  • Switch over to the node tool, select/click the "transform mode" at top on the node settings bar
  • Select all related right side nodes and "selection box from curves" above on the node settings bar
  • Slightly drag the whole node selection up and left, as you did with your last shown single circle
