Hi

I have downloaded a file with dozens of small vector images related with summer. Does not mater. Any topic.

In this case I would like to select only the flip flops. But next to the flip flops there are other vectors. I am unable to select only the flip flops because other vectors get in the way. I tried other options in the select menu, but none seems to work. Same colour not possible because other images have the same colour. Other shapes also not possible. I was wondering if there is some sort of option where I would be able to select items that are "connected" between each other. Not sure if connected is the right word. What I sometimes do is to group the vector but that does not always work and I wonder if there is an easier way?

Thank you and a great weekend for all!

In Designer on Windows you can start dragging - with the Left-Mouse-Button - from the background (not on a layer) and then keep the Right-Mouse-Button pressed down to select all the layers which intersect the marquee. You need to release the Left-Mouse-Button first to keep the selection.
I don’t know if this works with the other applications or on MacOS.

Hi

This is probably one of those cases where the explanation is flawless but the operator is not. I think I followed each step of the way but for some reason it didn´t work for me. While pressing both mouse buttons I can see it only selects a few elements and also when I release the left button, nothing is selected. But thanks, glad to know there is a way :)

UPDATE: I think I got it. I needed to click CRTL also. Something like that. I´m happy.
