Hi @ricsifiu,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

Apologies for the delayed response here, as it was a 4 day weekend last week here in the UK.

I can confirm, as can be seen in the below list, than unfortunately these 2 models are not currently supported by our RAW engine and therefore the accuracy of the colours in the RAW file cannot be guaranteed -

This is why the JPEG files are opening as expected, I'd recommend developing your RAW images in the DJI software and then exporting to TIFF/PNG for further editing in Affinity.

We certainly hope to support these RAW files in a future update, however I'm unable to provide a timescale for this currently. I hope this clears things up!

Hi @gre,

Welcome to the Forums :)

Thanks for your report! My apologies as I was slightly incorrect in the above post - the Mini 3 is not a supported model, but the Mini 2 should be.

I've downloaded a sample RAW file from the Mini 2 and I'm able to replicate the incorrect colours here, therefore I am logging this with our developers now.

I hope this helps!

Im glad to be here! :)

I've just receive message from DJI and they known about this, and for that, they engage image processor to correct this... as they said "phenomenon" so jpg is corrected by default. RAW need some special dedicated profile otherwise is useless.

Hi.

Did you guys at AP get round to developing anything to help with the Mini 3 Pro files? Mine are rather blue'ish and was just wondering if theres a quick way to process and improve the DNGs… like a preset for the camera. 👍🏻

Support for the Mini 3 was added to Affinity Photo V2, but remains unsupported in Affinity Photo. If you're using Affinity Photo V2 these DNGs should open for editing in the Develop Persona.

You might notice slight colour differences between the RAW file and the JPEG equivalent that the camera produces, as each RAW image editor will 'develop' a RAW file in slightly different ways, which might not exactly match the JPEG.

This may not necessarily be a bug as each RAW editor will handle the RAW values differently, but we can certainly inspect this further for you.

Can you please confirm for me:

  • Are you using Affinity Photo V1 or V2?
  • Are you running Affinity on Windows, macOS or iPadOS?
  • Are you able to provide a DNG that shows this colour issue?

Many thanks in advance :)
