Asking if anyone can help me discover why: After opening a new document in Designer. Then putting my curser over the Tools on the left side (Node, Pen, Brush, etc.) There is not white label with the tool name on it? I have Affinity Photo and Publisher the Tool Label works fine. I have Uninstalled and Reinstalled Designer to no success. What am I over looking?

Check to see how long you have the tooltip display delay set for. It is in Preferences > User Interface  Tooltip Delay is a slider in the middle of the window.

Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

what is the Tooltip Delay anyway

the delay is the time it takes to show the label. When the label shows up immediately I get very annoyed.
