kennyoart
Asking if anyone can help me discover why: After opening a new document in Designer. Then putting my curser over the Tools on the left side (Node, Pen, Brush, etc.) There is not white label with the tool name on it? I have Affinity Photo and Publisher the Tool Label works fine. I have Uninstalled and Reinstalled Designer to no success. What am I over looking?

It is in Preferences > User Interface Tooltip Delay is a slider in the middle of the window. kennyoart 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear. kennyoart
That solved it. Thank you. But what is the Tooltip Delay anyway?

When the label shows up immediately I get very annoyed. kennyoart
Old Bruce, That makes sense. But starting out when it does not show up at all it makes me annoyed. I am grateful to learn this tip.
