Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

I'm using Photo with sidecar between my iMac and iPad, using the iPad as a drawing tablet. Right now, I have sidecar set to extend, not mirror, to the iPad and I've just been moving Photo back and forth between the two screens occasionally to check my work on the bigger screen. This is both a nuisance and waste of my 27" 5K display because I'm barely using it.

I've tried separated mode, I do not like it, I want my toolbars and document to stay in the same window, but I want to see the document on my big screen simultaneously. Apparently that leaves mirroring as my only option, although I don't want to mirror my iMac's display to the iPad any more than I want to use separated mode. If I have to use mirroring though, I will.

From what little I've seen, including the Affinity manual page about using sidecar, its been depicted as if I'm able to mirror without either screen being forced to match resolutions as seen here:

Coming from a screen-less Wacom, the above example, despite requiring mirrored desktop instead of extended desktop, would be the most ideal setup for me. I can not for the life of me, find out how to set it up like this though. I would very much appreciate some help getting here.

Hi @Rob226 Welcome to the forums.

The way the screenshot shows it, will be using the mirror mode, it's just zoomed in on the iPad so you don't see the apps full UI (not in separated mode) with the canvas.
