Affinity Extensions

Hi, I use Affinty on my Mac. In photos there is Affinity Extensions. 
My husband uses Windows and would like to buy Affinity to edit photos but before he does we would like to know if the windows version also has Extensions as we like the ease of the short cut.

Well I don't think that MS Photos on Windows systems has, or offers an extendable API here. Thus you can't extend or interact with it via third party apps in the same manner like on MacOS. Under MacOS in contrast to Win, Apple's Photos is instead build the way that it can be extended and exchange images by third party modules (aka extensions).

However, Affinity Photo offers a limited support for a subset of the Photoshop (PS) related plugin api, so that some PS related third party image manipulation plugins can be partly used.
