Neforpubl Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Not sure what I did - but I am trying to just grab the purple part of the photo and "copy" it to put it into another photo. Usually I would use the selection brush, then hit the move tool, and press ctrl+c and then paste in the next picture. Now I cant do that. When I do it, it pastes the entire photo. Quote
AffinityJules Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 That's because you're using an image file. Rasterise the layer to turn it into a pixel layer then all will be fine. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe. These are not my own words but I sure like this quote.
Neforpubl Posted April 5, 2022 Author Posted April 5, 2022 How exactly do I do that if you don't mind? Still learning affinity. Quote

Layers tab/choose rasterise from the drop down list. Or 2. Right click mouse/select rasterise.
