graham9510
I have applied a series of adjustment layers/live filter layers to a developed CR RAW image, including heavy de-noising. When happy with the image in affinity I exported to JPEG as high quality, but when I re-open, say in Preview, the image, although good, does not reflect the quality as it appeared in Affinity. I have tried several alternative settings but this has not resolved it. Would appreciate advice if there is a step I am missing - I am relatively new to Affinity
Staff Andy Somerfield Posted December 14, 2015 Staff Share Posted December 14, 2015 Hi graham, This sounds unusual - could you somehow get an example RAW and JPEG file up here for us to have a look at? The files may be too big for the forum, so most people use something like dropbox. If you would rather the files remained private, you can always send an email with the dropbox link to support AT seriflabs DOT com and we will do our best to help.. Hope this helps, Andy. Magnus_vb
Graham, you might already be aware of this, that AFP does not give you a preview of the exported jpg. And in my opinion, jpg compression is "sensitive" with noisy images (water color effect).
