Sapaka
Hi all, I am quite new to the tool and I am working on layered image the requires me to be able to fill the inside of a complex shape. With Cricut software the feature is called Contour and Hide all contour. But it seems quite different from the Affinity terminology. With it, it's quite trivial to fill SVGs images to get just the general form. I understand it is not clear enough, so here is what I would like to be able to do: https://youtu.be/4Hy2ZtK2qdk?t=269 (there is a time code and the part lasts 20 seconds) My questions are: Can I do that with Affinity Designer? If yes, how? If no, why not? Sorry again for the lack of clarity, not only am I quite new, but English is not my mother tong.
v_kyr
Hi and welcome! That's easy to do for such mandala based unicorns. Select the layer of initial unicorn drawing Perform an geometric divide of the selected object Look in the layers panel for the resulting object, OR select and geometrical add all generated dived objects afterwards together, which will give you the same. See this for a quick way: screencast_unicorn.mp4 Sapaka 1 Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.
