Ben Jamin Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 Hi, new here from Photoshop. I'm trying to cut one portion from a layer, but it keeps cutting the entire layer. Please see video below: Screen Recording 2022-03-12 at 03.32.24.57 PM.mp4 Quote
walt.farrell Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. You have an (Image) layer if you look in the Layers panel. It is a kind of container, and to operate on its individual pixels you need to convert it to a (Pixel) layer. You can right-click on it in the Layers panel and choose Rasterize, or from the menu choose Layer > Rasterize.
