Hello,

I used to be able to round trip from Capture One to Affinity Photo by opening several images at once using the 'edit with' Affinity Photo in Capture One. All of the selected images would open in Affinity Photo in separate windows so I could batch edit them or perform similar tasks on each one.
For some reason now, Affinity will only open one of the selected images, even though psd's have been created for all of the selected images and prepared for export to Affinity Photo.

Windows is also now asking me if Affinity is still my preferred app for this process (before arriving in Affinity Photo with my file/files) even though I have selected Affinity Photo as my default app for dealing with psd's multiple times.

So I'm not entirely sure if this is an Affinity issue, a Capture One issue or a Windows 10 issue.

Is there something I'm missing in Affinity Preferences maybe?

Any help/advice much appreciated!

Thanks, Will

Welcome to the forums @Will Bazlinton,

Sorry about the delay in getting a response.

While I don't have a definitive answer, I think I can rule out the issue being just with Affinity Photo. I don't have Capture One, but use Lightroom (the last perpetual version). I've tested what you're doing, round-trip from LR, using CR2 (RAW) to PSD. I had no problem with opening numerous images in Affinity Photo.

Just a side note, you need to have Enable Save over PSD files checked in Preferences>General. If not, then when you attempt to save the PSD in Affinity Photo, you will get the prompt/window to save the images as afphoto files.

I'm also running Windows 10, and was not limited on the number of images.
