I downloaded the affinity photo trial to use instead of photoshop and I could use it right away, it's easy to use when you know photoshop. So I would love to buy it, but it doesn't seem to run wel on my brand new macbook air with the newest processor (M1) and OS Big sur.

On many regular tasks I get a spinnig colour ball and have to wait for a few seconds for it to go away. This happens almost every minute on different tasks. So you understand that I am hesitating to buy it, because this is only on easy tasks with nog a lot of layers or programs open.

Is this because of the trial version?
