How do you fit objects to frame (like you can in InDesign - Object - Fitting- Fit object to frame proportionally)

I want to fit images i've copied and pasted from Photoshop into a frame (picture frame rectangle tool) and then resize them to fit proportionally, does anyone know how to do that?

In Publisher (the InDesign equivalent for the Affinity suite of applications) you can use a Picture Frame, which should give the function you want. Assuming I understand what you're asking, of course.
