How is the licensing like ?

Hi

I'm new here, have been using photoshop for 15 yrs now and looking for alternative due to Adobe CC subscription. I am very impress and so happy that infinity photo exist ! Just loaded the trail and it looks like a very worthy alternative to photoshop, my question is how is the licensing like? When I purchase for my desktop via the App Store, do I have to purchase again for my laptop or does it work like other app where you can open in both with 1 license ? Appreciate and thanks in advance for your help !

Welcome to the forum.  :)

 

The same App Store licensing applies, as with any other app purchased this way. 

 

You can have up to 5 devices using the same licensed Affinity software, provided all 5 are using the same Apple ID when opening the App Store. 

 

Therefore if you originally installed it on a MBP & then later buy an additional iMac, as long as you use the same Apple ID when you open the App Store on the iMac & click on the Purchased tab, you will see your purchases are ready for installing.

Wow this is so great and I no longer have to go in n out with license key if changing computers, great job guys and keep it up. Really appreciate affinity photo !!!! Hope the batch processing come soon and also I'll like to know is there an action button where you can record and process? Is that under the batch you guys are doing for future update as well ?

Currently Affinity Photo doesn't support actions, but this is already planned for a future version (Macro Persona).
