System Breakdowns and Affinity Photo Breakdowns after upgrading to WINDOWS 11 PRO

Hello

After upgrading my computer to Windows 11 AFFINITY PHOTO often gets closed wile working at a photo with loosing all the changes done so far. Sometimes the coplete system stops working and a cold start is neccessary.

Is there a problem with WINDOWS 11 and AFFINITY  PHOTO known and will there be an update coming to solve the problem?

Hi @Martin Heß,

Can you try opening Affinity and click Edit>Preferences>Performance and at the bottom of this window is an option for OpenCL, if that's ticked, untick and close Preferences and you'll be asked to restart Affinity.  Once restarted, try using the app again and let me know the results.

thank you very much for the quick answer.

I changed the preset of the OpenCL and I didn´t have any problems so far. It seem to work and I hope it will do so in the future.

Is there any loss of working speed if this preset isn´t ticked. Could you kindly explain what´s the effect of the preset.
