Using Affinity Publisher 1.10.4.1198 on Windows 10  to format print books.  No graphics at all, just text.  After about 150 or so pages of text entered, Affinity started freezing up - first there's the spinning Blue Wheel of Doom, then the whole window turns whitish as Windows reports "Affinity Publisher is not responding."  Fortunately, when re-opening, AP offers a recovered file which usually includes most of what I'd just done.

Originally this seemed to happen randomly, though on multiple occasions it was when attempting to apply a master page to the first page of a new chapter. However, it's now happening regularly, and I can only  enter a few pages before it freezes.

I checked before posting here, and the crash reports folder is empty.

Any suggestions about how to fix this appreciated.

BTW, besides crashing every time I added or changed something, I discovered 1.10 was losing formatting in some sections, and dropping out chunks of text.  Reworking the same file using 1.9, I have encountered none of these problems.  Seems like 1.10 has some serious bugs, so I'll be staying with 1.9 for now.
