RDEdge Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 I am trying out Affinity Photo for Windows, to create covers for book. I want to use Drop Caps on back cover text, but it is missing when I open a text box and go to the Paragraph windows. The only options are spacing, tab stops, and justification. I hesitate to buy without knowing if this is available in purchased version. Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. The Trial and Retail versions are almost completely identical, and certainly are identical in this area. Drop Caps are a function of Publisher, not of Photo or Designer, though it might be possible to emulate them in those applications. RDEdge Posted January 14, 2022 Author Posted January 14, 2022 Thanks. I will download trial of Publisher and see if I can accomplish task. I still want to buy Photo, I am retired, and like learning new things. If Publisher works, will purchase it, too. -Ron. Quote
