Dear all,

I'm interested in the LUT pack by Ivan but for me Affinity is totally unknown. While watching the tutorial on how to install and use the LUTs, I saw a program that was unknown to me but similar to Photoshop. Can I also install these LUTs in photoshop?

Thanks for your help.

Regards, Gery (from the Netherlands)

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @GtB56.

The LUTs in that pack are delivered in two formats when you purchase them:

  1. As .afluts files, which only Affinity Photo can use.
  2. As .zip files, containing .cube files. I think Photoshop would be able to use those, but I'm not a Photoshop user.

If you'd like to learn more about Affinity Photo, you can try it free for 10 days (starting from the time you first open it after you install it). You can read the marketing material about its features at https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/photo/ and you can download the Trial at the bottom of that page, or at https://affin.co/phototrial

You'll also find many tutorials on YouTube, or you can find the tutorials created by Serif at https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/tutorials/photo/desktop/

Thanks Walt! For all the information.

Beforehand I have checked for the name of the LUT files in Photoshop and saw that this was the same (.cube). But I'm totally not technical and just wanted to inform and to be sure if it's possible. I also looked at Affinity on the website but in English and an unknown program doesn't attract me yet....

I'm a portrait photographer and I'm happy to know how Photoshop works for my pictures. The LUTs seem very nice and handy to work with.
