Graeme 244
I have found a significant difference in the memory pressure in Affinity Photo between two computers, both using the original Apple M1 chip with 16GB RAM. My MacBook Pro seems fine but my iMac is using a lot more and has even led to occasional crashes. Two snapshots attached. They were using the same picture with the same adjustments. Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this?
Dan C
Hi @Graeme 244, Welcome to the Affinity Forums My sincerest apologies for the delayed response here, we were extremely busy following over the Christmas period and working from home during the pandemic is unfortunately extending our response window to be longer than normal, many thanks for your continued patience and understanding here. This is certainly an interesting report that I've not heard previously, so I'd like to request a little more information from yourself. From each Mac, can you please provide screenshots of the following: Apple > About This Mac Affinity Photo > About Affinity Photo > Preferences > Performance This will hopefully allow me to better understand what may be casing this between your systems. Many thanks in advance!
