2D drawing support similar to an app “mental canvas”

Please add support similar to an app called mental canvas where we can draw in layers or canvas which are not only above one another but also perpendicular or in different angles with main canvas .

Blender's "Grease Pencil" module is great for doing 2d in 3d space, once you get familiar with the app, it's pretty amazing for this type of thing. Plus it's open source and free to use.
