Box style

I am trying to create a box style with a border and a fill, but I'm having great difficulty getting it to align to the text frame. I have managed to get the left margin aligned but not the right. I'm using text in 3 columns on an A4 sheet.

Do you have to can you make a dummy file you can upload so we can look at your settings in detail, or detail what settings you have used for the box style?

Which app are you using?

I think you might be using the wrong approach and what you need to do is format the text frame, I don't know how you want to format this text frame exactly but this is an example of formatting the text frame with the text having no custom made style...

Thank you for the reply. Here is a screenshot. You can see one of the text boxes (Mallard) with its text frame in a different position. I don't know how to get text frame matched to box.
