When recording a macro and I want to change layers, the attached "Select Layer" window pops up. There are various options available but I cannot use "Shift + select" to create a group.

How do I get around this problem, or better still, remove the pop up altogether.

For some reason the file won't upload

Hard to give exact instructions without seeing the document's Layers structure, but effectively to group layers/adjustments try this...

Group the lowest layer (by itself)

Move the next layer you want in the group to just above the group then Arrange > Move Inside

Repeat with next layer, etc, etc, etc

PS To move layers in macros do not try to drag them, use the various commands in the Arrange menu

Thanks for that. It seems that not only punctuation is gone by the board, but who came up with the idea of making a simple task so complex? I only had five layers to contend with. What happens when there are 10 or more. The mind boggles!
