After updating Photo to the latest version, the install on my MBP running Mojave became unusable due to large blocks of Magenta color and random illegible type after clicking on any of the options at the top of the screen. One of the posts recommended downloading the Beta version, so I did. That had no effect. I also have the software on my iMac, also running Mojave, and found no issues with the software. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi George HB,

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble using Affinity, please could you tell me exactly which version number of the app you are using and if possible could you provide a screenshot showing the large blocks of magenta and random illegible type etc?

Thanks
C

To: @Callum.  I have Affinity Photo 1.10.4 installed. I have also tried the Beta version linked in an earlier post regarding this issue. I have no problem with PS acting up. I have reinstalled Affinity Photo, and reinstalled my OS (Mojave). It doesn't matter what format the photo is, as soon as I try to use one of the choices at the top toolbar, the display goes nuts. I wasn't able to capture the magenta color glitch, it seems to flicker too fast to be captured.Screen Shot 2021-11-30 at 11.26.37 AM.afphotoScreen Shot 2021-11-30 at 11.26.37 AM.afphotoScreen Shot 2021-11-30 at 11.26.37 AM.afphotoScreen Shot 2021-11-30 at 11.26.37 AM.afphotoScreen Shot 2021-11-30 at 11.26.37 AM.afphoto

I just purchased Photo today and I'm having exactly the same problem described above. MacBook Pro running OS 10.14.6. Full specs in attached screenshot. When I start Photo the display freaks out and continues unstable even after quitting the program. After restarting the computer and NOT starting Photo, everything is OK. I have no such problems with Affinity Publisher, which I purchased earlier.
