Hello,

So I am experiencing some issues when I try to export a graphic from designer (ipad) in either EPS or SVG form. When I try to export the graphic all of my brushstrokes/curves rasterize. I am using only Affinity legacy brushes (the watercolor and gouaches) and I have tried changing the export settings to "rasterize nothing" but then all of the brushstrokes revert to the simple affinity pen and I lose all of the texture from the watercolor strokes. I thought I might be able to expand the curves but I don't think "expand curves" works with the more textured brushes.

Im wondering if I am just stuck with PNG as my only option or if there is some way I can export this graphic while maintaining the brushstrokes?

Thanks,

Katya

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

The Affinity vector brushes are really raster images stretched along a vector path. I don't think there is a way to keep the brush texture and have non-rasterized vector output. The export can have the texture (but rasterized) or remain vector (but without the brush textures).
