Simon Smith Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 I'd like to load the files Dave Eagle uses in this demonstration video. I found the National Schools Telescope fits files and converted them to affinity files. I can open them using "files, open" but when I go "new stack" and "add", Affinity can't see the files. I'm puzzled why this is the case. I am using Windows 10. Quote
Alfred Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Simon. Files in the native Affinity format may be more than mere images, since they can contain adjustment layers, live filter layers, etc. The image stacking feature in Affinity Photo is only designed for stacking images, so you need to specify files which are in a standard image file format such as JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. Simon Smith Posted November 13, 2021 Author Posted November 13, 2021 Wow - that was a swift response. Thanks so much - I opened the Affinity files, exported them in png format, and everything works now. Alfred 1 Quote
