RickJohnson Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 I'm trying to learn to use frequency separation for applying a gaussian blur to the low frequency layer. On several attempts, I could select the area and apply the blur just fine, but after blurring several different areas, the selection tool stops working (i.e., the area is outlined as I draw it, but then the outline disappears when I remove the pen from the tablet). After this happens, I can still draw a random larger area as usual. What the heck? Quote
Staff Leigh Posted November 25, 2015 Staff Posted November 25, 2015 This could happen if you've applied a Feather but the selection is smaller than the size of the Feather. Did you specify a Feather setting? Quote
RickJohnson Posted November 25, 2015 Author Posted November 25, 2015 I think that was it. Thank you for the reply. Leigh 1 Quote
