Issues in Designer, with "Add geometry" on Wacom keypad/shortcut

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am using a Wacom Intuos and I decided to add the "Add geometry" function as one of my buttons on the drawing pad. The problem I'm having is that whenever that button adds the geometry. It's creating a "compound" instead of a one solid "curve/shape." Did I program the wrong function?

In my Affinity designer shortcuts I went to

- Layer

- Geometry > Add

How did you add the function to the button? I use keyboard shortcuts when I do it. I would need to make a shortcut for that function, Layer > Geometry > Add then assign those keystrokes to the Wacom button.

Are you on Mac or Windows?

If you have the Option key in the mix it may be that which is messing things up for you, this Option key will make a compound if you click on the Toolbar button.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thank you so much for getting back to me,

(I'm sorry if fail to clarify properly, English is my second language) So... I'm on Windows, and I went back into Designer, and decided to test my new shortcut on the keyboard. And I now think I might have found a bug:

"Layer - Geometry > Add" and "Layer - Create compound" are both doing the same thing when you add different shortcuts to them (on my keyboard).

Here are the shortcuts button I chose to use:

"CTRL + ALT + A" = Geometry > Add

"CTRL + ALT + P" = Create compound

Has anyone else tried programing their own shortcuts into those two functions?

I am not seeing this on Mac. Both work as expected, Control + Option + A gives me Add and Control + Option + P gives me Compound.
