Hi,

Is it possible to create an automation sequence within Affinity Publisher (similar to the actions used in Photoshop)? Or can anyone recommend an automation app that would copy+paste text fields from page 1 to page 2, 3, 4 and so? (I need the text fields as they are, without using a master page).

Thanks!

You can't script/automate Publisher but there is a way to do what you want. You will have to use a master page but only temporarily.

1. Put the objects you want to duplicate onto all of those pages onto a master page.

2. Create as many pages as you like based on that master page.

3. Select all of those pages in the Pages studio panel. Choose Layer > Master Page > Edit Detached.

4. In the Layers studio panel, click the disclosure triangle to the left of the master page name to expand the list of object layers in the master page layer.

5. Drag all of the object layers from the master page to above the master name page - it will highlight when you're in the drop zone.

6. Click Finish (at the top of the document window) to stop editing detached.

7. Right click the pages in the Pages studio panel. Choose Clear Masters to stop basing these pages on that master page. If you are using another master page this will un-apply that master, too, so alternatively you could instead delete the master page you created for this purpose.
