Ashcat
Hi, I have another problem since lately. I’ll try to explain: I’m working in Affinity Photo with my iPad Pro 2020 and sometimes suddenly a layer freezes at the screen. I close the layers and de frozen layer stays at the screen. If I close the file and open another file this one is okay, so without the frozen layer of the other file, if I open the formeren file again the frozen layer is still there. The only solution is to close the programn, restart the iPad en start Affinity again. The frozen layer is gone.
Dan C
Hi @Ashcat, Thanks for your report! I can confirm this is logged with our developers as a bug, which I'll be sure to 'bump' for you now. Unfortunately there's no known workaround to remove this layer from screen other than a restart currently, my sincerest apologies.
Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted September 21, 2023 Staff Share Posted September 21, 2023 The issue "Layer gets stuck on screen and only vanishes after restart" (REF: AFD-4481) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.2.0 Release". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
