Layers, Dynamic projection . Locking layers in 360 photos

Recommended Posts

i , I'm a newcomer so maybe this question has already been answered.

I have issues trying to use layers while working on my 360 photos with dynamic projection view on : it's impossible to lock the layers and continue to use the dynamic projection further on.

Is it possible to do so or shall I have to go back to equirectangular projection, group the layers and then export to a new equiriectangular projection photo ?

Thanks for your help !

Hi @Jijige Welcome to the forums.

Unfortunately this is a limitation of Equirectangular projection, as it only applies to a singular pixel layer and not adjustment/mask layers. You have options to Merge your layers after applying adjustments. You want to add to your workflow in applying adjustments ideally without the projection enabled to see the full effect to the image before removing the projection and potentially merging the layers. This will either merge the selected adjustment down onto the existing pixel layer or merge visible will take all the visible layers and create a new pixel layer from them

Thanks a lot, that's what I thought, unfortunately. My biggest issue is that I have to insert  this inner pavement in one of my photos and don't know how to make manually a projection of it in order to merge the two layers ... Any idea ?

Best Regards
