Cannot answer your question directly but if you already have Nik Silver Efex pro you can use it as a plug-in on Affinity Photo. There is a very good video on YouTube showing you how to instal the Nik Collection into Affinity. Its by Chris Williams and you can find it under affinity Photo tutorials on YouTube. Not all of the Nik Collection works but Silver Efex is one that does.
