Prefix for page references used in TOC and Index

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

in InDesign I can choose a prefix when starting a new section - it is on more option when defining the page number start. So a Section pagination having the prefix ABC- would be shown in TOC as

Entry .... ABC-1

Entry .... ABC-2

Entry .... ABC-3

and so on.

Each entry in the Index woul look like simiiar like

Keyword - ABC-2

Long Keyword - ABC-1

As from a progrmamer's view (who I am :)) it would just need a field which can be prepended to a page number when generation TOC or index - am I right?

Michael
